Kicking Against the Pricks is a new music magazine put together by Daniel Dylan Wray, straight outta Sheffield. He’s the man behind DIY clubnight Death By Shoes.
It’s updated in one big content-dump much like an issue of a printed magazine, rather than features trickling on continuously, so it’s harder to miss stuff. There’s a launch, so to speak, for each installment. I’ve been contributing to it.
Here is a blog showing stuff I’ve done, things I’m doing and what I’d like to do in the future. I work across disciplines and in collaboration with other people where possible. I am part of the Manchester Municipal Design Corporation and am also working for Ultimate Holding Company. I edit Things Happen magazine and also play in underground hit-machines like The Hipshakes.
